HBPRC open - Level 2 update

Good news — courts are now able to be booked and the gym and sauna are open. Organised club night Thursday and members' tennis open day Sunday 1–4pm have recommenced as have all coach-led activities.

While under Level 2, we must comply with the guidelines from Sport NZ, Tennis NZ, and Squash Auckland, so before coming to the club pease read the following:

1. Contact Tracing

We are required to keep a list of EVERYONE who enters the club.

Please swipe your card so that we have a record of you entering the club. Your card is not only a key to get in but it's a contactless way for us to record that you have entered the premises. So every single person needs to swipe their card.

You must book your courts online and ensure that all members are recording in the online booking system.

For sport-specific requirements on contact tracing, please follow the guidelines on signage at the club or as directed by your coach/trainer.

2. Sanitation

Sanitisers will be available around the club. Please use them upon entry and exit, we are required to enforce additional hygiene requirements at this stage.

There's no access to the water fountain — please bring your own filled water bottle.

Please bring a gym bag or rackets bag to contain absolutely all your gear so no gear is left on tables or chairs.

3. Tennis & Squash

For casual play all balls must be brought by players and taken home by players

Please allow 5—10 minutes prior to the game to sanitise hands and glass doors (squash) before and after each game

Keep a racket distance apart from others

Full Tennis NZ Level 2 guidelines are here.

4. Drills, Lessons, PTs and Junior Programmes

All participants must wait in their car until the time of their drill/lesson.

Whoever you have booked with (David, Blake, Jarrod, Priscilla, Luke, Pia or Siggy) will let you in when the session is ready to commence.

Please fill out the contact tracing register if required (this can be via coach/trainer, scanning QR code, or filling in physical form)

Booking times will be staggered so that there is no bottleneck.

Parents to wait in cars and not on the premises.

5. Gym

Maximum of 5 exercisers (trainers don't count against this number) in the gym at any one point to honour social distancing suggestions.

There will be a mandatory separate sign-in sheet for the gym

Please bring a gear bag and ensure all your gear is in the bag and not on equipment.

Please bring a towel to sit on.

Please bring a water bottle from home as the fountain will not be made available.

Please clean hands with sanitiser (provided).

Please spray down and wipe machines and equipment with the sprays bottles made available.

6. Pilates

Saturday only class to begin on Saturday 23 May.

The class must be a maximum of 9 people so booking is essential.

Zoom classes to continue mid-week on Wednesday at 11am.

Bring a large clean towel or your own yoga mat to lay over the provided mat.

7. Bar

No one behind the bar except for staff

One person per table can nominate the ‘bar volunteer’ who will be able to come to the bar and order and pay for drinks and return them to their table, no queing at the bar please.

Eftpos only.

8. Sauna

Now open but please follow sensible social distancing protocol.

And one last thing, if you are feeling sick, or have any hint of illness, cough, cold etc. please don't come to the club.

Again, we thank you for your support and continued membership during our lockdown, see you again around the club soon.

Enjoy and stay safe.
