True! We've seen juniors not much taller than their rackets thrash men old enough to be their dads. Now that's gotta be cooler than sitting in front of PlayStation. Surely.

You can sign up the day you turn 7

We have two grades for Juniors - Under 12s and Under 19s. The only real difference is that Under 19s get a membership swipe card to get in the door and flick on the squash lights.

• Under 12 years - $140.00 for a year's membership
• 12 to 19 years - $180.00 for a year's membership
• Or join as part of a Family membership

Junior Club nights are free for members and $10 for visitors and run each Friday during term time.

Junior Tennis

Club night held on Fridays during Terms 1 and 4 of the school year.

• 9 - 16 years from 4.30pm - 6pm

CLUB CHAMPS - held first term.

Youth Coaching Programme is run by our Head Professional, David Mustard and includes term coaching, holiday clinics, tournaments, private & group coaching. Ask mum or dad to call David Mustard (tennis) on 021 476 606.

Junior Squash

Squash Junior Club Night runs every Friday during chool terms on Fridays from 4-6pm. Non-members are welcome to come along and try out a few sessions to see if they like squash and want to continue. We're sure you will!

Our coach Jarrod van Driel has many programmes and opportunities on offer for all ages and levels of junior squash players. This includes programmes such as Afterschool Programmes, Junior Interclub Coaching, Fitness Programmes, and many more. Jarrod also coaches our Double Dot Squash Academy players who he also organises and travels with on trips around New Zealand to compete in regional, national and PSA tournaments. Jarrod offers the most comprehensive squash programme in New Zealand, providing a large range of programmes, events and other opportunities for all to get involved with.

Enter some tournaments and join interclub

If you would like to enter squash tournaments at clubs around New Zealand you will need an iSquash code. To obtain a code:

1. Create an account at www.squash.org.nz

2. Email the Herne Bay Squash VP at SquashVP@hernebayrackets.co.nz to get a code player code assigned.

You can then enter tournaments and check your points, and others, at any time online.
