Club sponsors wanted

Would you like to profile your company, goods or services to members of the Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club?

We have over 430 members, a newsletter that goes out to over 1,000 recipients and a facebook page with over 285 followers who would love to learn about what your company offers.

We have some great sponsorship opportunities available and we’d love to hear from any plumbers, dentists, travel agents, vets, architects,  financial management organisations and others who would like to advertise within our community. Please contact our Club Secretary, Dianna at, if you would like to discuss the sponsorship options and available packages. Thank you again to all our current sponsors who very generously support our cub.

Looking to get involved in 2018?

The HBPRC is an incorporated society and a registered charity. We constantly need volunteer support to help govern, run and maintain our club.

Please have a think about how you can get involved in 2018:

  • Join the committee — there are a broad range of projects and things the club is looking to do in 2018 and we will be looking at establishing more sub-committees to drive some of these things, like the social committee that ran the High Rolla fundraiser
  • Donate one day per month to volunteer behind the bar, or be prepared to make yourself available in the case we host events which are important sources of external revenue for the club
  • Help coach the junior programs — our juniors numbers have been lifting in squash and tennis this year and Friday evening has become a social fixture at the club during term time
  • Get involved in the next working bee
  • Ask you business to sponsor the club
  • Invite friends to join the club
  • Do you have any special skills or resources the club can utilise

We’d like to once again thank you for your continued support of our club in 2017. We have a great group of members who generously donate their time, skills and sponsorship to our club. Please contact Jacqui at or one of the committee members  if you are interested.
