Caro Bowl comes to HBPRC, Sunday, 12 November!

CaroBowl_redcd

Don't miss this one! Come on down to the club this Sunday, 12 November, and watch our top men's tennis interclub team take on Karaka in our home round of this year's Caro Bowl, the premier club competition in the country.

The bar will be open, the BBQ will be on, and you are invited to bring firends and family along to cheer the guys on.

Make no mistake, these games will be intense and it should be a great afternoon of memorable tennis to watch close-up from the deck.

Games start at 2pm; see you there!

2017 HBPRC Racketball Club Champs

Last week saw our annual Racketball Club Champs keenly fought out amongst 16 fine athletes! George Crosby was the dark horse amongst the pack, and nearly snuck through to his first ever racketball final! However on a balmy spring Saturday afternoon the top two seeds Matt Taylor and Jared Conning battled out the final as they have done so many times against each other. With the match tied at 1 game each, Matt stepped up the heat and ground his opponent down to take the title 3 games to 1. A great effort in energy sapping conditions, so congratulations once again to Matt Taylor as 2017 Racketball Club Champ!
