The club is hosting the Auckland Open this year on the weekend of the 28th-30th July.
Come and watch some great squash and enjoy a full kitchen service courtesy of well known Auckland chef Peter Chichester (ex Parnell's VBG and Metropole), who is catering for the tournament. Peter has prepared a special menu that spans toasties on pide flat bread, soups, homemade pies, masala chicken sliders, and spaghetti from Bologna, and will be cooking over the weekend for you all. Plus there'll be an Allpress Espresso machine serving coffee all day.
Entries via iSquash. Entry fee is $40, local players may be required to play Thursday night. Entries close Friday 21st July 5pm.
These run from Monday 17th to Friday 21st July between 1pm to 3pm. Daily and Weekly rates available. Cost $25 per day or $100 per week. Book now! Contact Mike Weston on 0211811760 or email westonmike@hotmail.com

Every Thursday from 6.30pm, please feel free to join us for Senior Club Night - all welcome.
Don't delay! Make sure you register now for summer senior interclub so that we can organise teams in time for the comp (entry cut-off date is Sunday, 13 August). Email Simon tennisVP@hernebayrackets.co.nz with details of what you'd like to play (mixed, and/or men's or women's) or to get more info.
The forecast is not great this week, but, weather permitting, Thursday winter interclub training runs from 6-7pm on courts 1 & 2 and the club night board will start from 7pm; feel free to come along and start hitting on 3 & 4 from 6.30 as usual.
These run from Monday 17th to Friday 21st July between 9am and 12 noon. Daily and Weekly rates available. Book now! Contact David Mustard on 021476606 or email mustardtennis@xtra.co.nz
It was a third-time lucky rain-date for the annual Wimbledon Whites event held last weekend and well worth the wait. We'll be holding more of these themed events in the upcoming season (next is scheduled for US Open opening weekend of Saturday, 26 August) and as you can see below the cosplay element is becoming increasingly competitive (well done James McKinnon, best dressed on the day). Thanks to Rob and Bronwyn for organising the very generous prize packs from sponsors Herne Bay Cellars and Rocket Espresso. Time to start planning your US Open-themed outfit now!
