Firstly a BIG "Thank You" to everyone who volunteered their time on Sunday, we had a fantastic turnout and as a result got a lot completed.
What we achieved:
Carpark Garden - weed mat laid and new bark put down.
External Cupboards - rubbish removed, shelf's installed and contents lifted off the ground.
Squash Courts Walls - this became a competition as to who could remove the most rubber from the walls – No doubt a few sore elbows and there is still plenty of work to be done on the walls.
Ceiling Tiles replaced and Fans thoroughly cleaned.
Bar & Chiller – Scrubbed from head to toe.
Kitchen – Tidied and Alleyway behind Kitchen – rubbish removed & tidied.
Lounge Windows – cleaned inside and out.
Weeding & Spraying around the club and tennis courts
External Squash Walls – removal of rubbish between concrete wall and club.
If I have forgotten to mention someone or something - again thank you, there was so much happening. It was great to see the comradery and buzz around the club.
There are a number of people who do not wish to be mentioned, but we really appreciate those that donated items they purchased, people who provided their tools, elbow grease, precious time & morning tea.
