Because of the extension for entries, we are already a bit behind so please make sure you check the roster and contact your opponents to organise your games ASAP.

Round 1 completed by 7th March

Games formats:
Elimination rounds:
Open Grade: 3 sets with 3rd set a super tiebreaker (first to 10)
B Grade: First to 9 with tiebreaker at 8 all (first to 7)
Final rounds:
Open Grade: Standard best of 3 sets
B Grade: First to 12 with super tiebreaker at 11 all (first to 10)

The Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club - Executive Committee consists of a President, Squash VP, Tennis VP, Treasurer & Secretary.
These committee members shall automatically be retired annually at the Annual General Meeting but are eligible for re-election on Thursday 2nd March.
Both our President & Treasurer have advised the current committee that they will not be standing for re-election. To date we have not received any valid nominations, (although I think Donald Trump may have put his hand up). Nomination Forms are at the bar, you need to be a current financial member and a nominator and seconder must sign the nomination form.
Would you have an interest? Would you like to know more? Can you help around the club? Job descriptions are available on request or perhaps you would like to chat with the current member?
If we do not receive nominations prior to the close off date Monday 20th February 5pm, then we will accept nominations from the floor on the night.
So - Please have a think about this as we need an Executive Committee to run the Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club.
