This year we are proud to be hosting the second ever National Racketball Championships so get out on the court and start training hard – bragging rights are what this tournament is all about!
The tournament runs from 25th – 27th February with finals being held on the Saturday afternoon of the 27th. A big thanks to our main sponsors Paul Gardiner (Bauer Media) and Andrew Berryman (BDM Grange & PriceWise), and there will be substantial cash prizes up for grabs for the winners.
Gather up your friends to play this fun but competitive event, entry fee is only $20 and includes one free drink at the bar. Ladies welcome too, and last year saw at least one male fall victim to a tenacious female squashie!
A few rackets are available on loan from the club if you don’t have one, and Jacqui also has some racketball balls for sale.
Lock this event into your diary, entry is via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can also enter directly via the www.isquash.co.nz website. Check out the posters around the club, and thanks again to Matt Taylor for his efforts in promoting this event and bringing racketball to Herne Bay in the first place!
Saturday 6th February. Captains if you need any tennis balls - please let me know. Please return any used interclub balls - these are then used for Thursday and Sunday Club days.
