CLUB ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR!
Hello everyone,
Just a brief note to let you all know that Jacqui Mustard won the 2015 Club Administrator of the Year at the Squash Auckland AGM on Wednesday evening!
Jacqui took on the role as the Herne Bay Ponsonby Rackets Club administrator early in 2015 and has proven to be a valuable addition to the club. I have found Jacqui to be extremely diligent and hard-working, she greets everyone with a smile on her face and finds a way to tackle each and every task that comes her way. Initially from more of a tennis background, Jacqui has totally embraced the squash aspect of the club and its culture. She has also made a huge effort to learn the workings of the club overall and the many different day-to-day issues to be managed, and we are thrilled and very fortunate to have her as our club administrator – CONGRATULATIONS Jacqui!
WORKING BEE
Thanks again to everyone who came along a couple of Sundays ago to help out. Some hard graft was put in to tidy and clean up parts of the club, and we will aim to make this a regular occurrence to keep our club looking good.
AGM
We are planning to hold our annual AGM mid February next year and will announce a date after our final 2015 Committee Meeting next Wednesday.
XMAS PARTY TOMORROW
If you can make it along to our 2015 Xmas Winter Wonderland party tomorrow evening it would be great to see you – the more the merrier! A few people have decorated our club to give it a Xmas feel and there will be cheap drinks, music and a festive feel so please come along and support your club tomorrow if you are free. Sadly there is no mistletoe!
