Happy Hour begins at 6.30pm on the deck (in the sunshine) and will run to 8pm. The kitchen is open from 6.30pm for burgers & fries.
Herne Bay kicks off the Racketball Club Champs.
We have a growing bunch of racketball regulars at Herne Bay Ponsonby, so it was only right we found out who was best! We had two mixed draws with players from A Grade down to D Grade. Honours in the top draw went to Jared Conning who outlasted Matt Taylor in a fast-paced 5 setter. Div 2 went to Dave Gregory who outgunned Big Brendan Taylor. Apart from the highly competitive matches, everyone enjoyed the run-around. Here are a few videos from the tournament:

Starts this Thursday at 4.30pm for those who can rally, serve and score. A great opportunity for those starting their Interclub on Saturday or Sunday. A complimentary Sausage sizzle will be available after club night has finished at 6pm.
Sunday Club Afternoon - Starts this Sunday18th Oct. with our Club Professional - David Mustard organising a board from 1pm to 3pm.
We are still looking to fill a couple of nights during the month. The commitment is only one night per month and if you pair up with someone it's only every second month!
This is a great way to 'do your part' for the Club like so many others have before you. If we don't have volunteers the bar is un-manned and this can be a problem when we have visiting teams and events on at the Club, not to mention thirsty members who need a drink!
No experience necessary and all training is provided and a few free drinks while you're there! Contact Jacqui in the office if interested.
