Wimbledon Mixed Doubles - This Saturday.....

We've had a great response with 30 entries.  We still need one more Gentleman and one Lady.   Remember prizes for the best dressed man and women, Wimbledon whites is your theme.

Play begins at 1pm on Saturday - spectators are more than welcome.

Squash

The Herne Bay B grade tournament was held over the weekend and was a great success with 100 entries. There was some good squash played over the weekend and the Mens Division 1 was between Finn Trimble and Sam Carey with Finn taking it out 3-1. The womens Division 1 final was between Jennifer Cole and Linda Ditchburn with Jennifer taking it out 3-0. Thanks to everyone who helped over the weekend and to our sponsors Bayleys Real Estate (Michael Rawlence) and More4Apps (Bruce Doig aka Snappa). Tournaments wouldn't run so smoothly without you all and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Reminders:

Urgent - Six Bar Volunteers needed

We are still looking to fill a couple of nights during the month. The commitment is only one night per month and if you pair up with someone it's only every second month!

This is a great way to 'do your part' for the Club like so many others have before you. If we don't have volunteers the bar is un-manned and this can be a problem when we have visiting teams and events on at the Club, not to mention thirsty members who need a drink!

No experience necessary and all training is provided - plus you get $50 off your membership each year and a few free drinks while you're there! Contact Jacqui in the office if interested.
