Firstly a very warm welcome to our new members - we have had a record 26 new people sign up as part of our January special! Newbies, we hope you have a great time here and to you oldies, please make our new people feel very welcome. Our coaches will be flat tack with the coaching sessions and our bar will be humming with the Bar Tabs we've given out for referrals.
Come on down tonight for Thursday Club Night if you're around - the kitchen will be closed due to the long weekend but keen beans will be out on court. The kitchen will be back to normal next week.

Our next DnA tournament is a special love-heart coloured one. You must be either in a relationship or single to play (ha that means it's open to everyone). David will be dishing out love quotes rather than the usual banter so that will be a welcome relief to all!

For those who don't know what a DnA is, DnA is a fast paced, doubles tennis game where you are fed balls (no serving) and you run to the net when you win points and run back when you lose. It’s great for fitness and also for skill. You play on and off for 15 mins at a time and about 4 rounds depending on numbers.

Chris must be feeling the joys of summer because he's also offering up BOOT CAMP starting Monday 9th @ 6:20am (yes I have double checked that's AM) at $10 per session. Boot Camp will run every Monday and Wednesday morning.

We now need 2 more volunteers on the bar. The commitment is only one night per month and if you pair up with someone it's only every second month!
This is a great way to 'do your part' for the Club like so many others have before you. If we don't have volunteers the bar is un-manned and this can be a problem when we have visiting teams and events on at the Club, not to mention thirsty members who need a drink!
No experience necessary and all training is provided - plus you get $50 off your membership each year and a few free drinks while you're there! Contact Sophie in the office if interested.
