In today's news...

Oops I did a little pre-announce announce in yesterday's newsletter that wasn't meant to be there... but that means I get to announce it again! It's the Herne Bay Rackets Christmas Party and it's going to be a goodie. Read below for more.

Also, if you're around the Club over the next couple of days, don't be surprised if you see someone being hijacked - TVNZ are running some training and it's not real... details below.

Also Junior Club Nights are up and running... more details below.

Have a great week, Santa will be here in 8 weeks so get some time in on court before the seasonal weight gain arrives :-)

Join us for a fun night of cocktails, good tunes  and Christmas cheer!

We will have a professional bartender on cocktails and Club DJ Matiu on the decks so it promises to be a very classy affair.

Tickets available from the bar or email service@hernebayrackets.co.nz

Happenings at the Club Thurs/Fri this week

If you come to the club during the day on Thursday or Friday this week and see a bunch of people acting out some weird scenarios…don’t panic!  TVNZ have hired the premises out for their annual ‘Hostile Environment Training’, which their news reporters and camera operators will be doing from about 9am – 5pm each day.  The training course will not get in the way of members playing squash or tennis or using the gym facilities.  Some of the training will take place inside, in the upstairs lounge area and some will be outside in the car park behind the squash courts.

Junior Tennis Club Nights

Club Nights are up and running now for the kids. All junior members are welcome to come along for free. David will be there to herd the kids into some games so if the weather behaves, come on down! PS the bar will be open for the adults :-)

3:30-4:30 for the littler kids and 4:30-6pm for the bigger kids. If you're unsure, please ask and we can tell you which session is best for your budding Erakovic/Djokovic.
