This Tournament is to find the best boys and girls from primary and Intermediate schools in the Tennis Auckland region to represent their schools at the North Island Primary/ Intermediate Schools Finals - held 24th (Y6), 25th& 26th (Open) of November 2014 at The Waikato Tennis Centre, Hamilton
Matches played SUNDAY 2nd, 9th (and 16th if required) NOVEMBER 2014 at the Scarbro Tennis Centre.

Just a quick reminder about the Squash Leagues, and a call for interested players for a Tennis League!
Squash: due to the level of interest in the Squash Leagues I'll be running these right through summer, so if you would like to join in the fun, please contact Sophie in the office - ASAP if you'd like to be in the Oct/Nov league!
Tennis: We will hopefully start these in the New Year so flick me an email to let me know if you're keen.

Apart from a few power-cables-with-legs and the odd child fiddling with the settings and causing me to swear at the iPads, the booking systems seem to be going well so far! Just a reminder on a few points:

Two of Herne Bay Racket's most beloved members have tied the knot! AJ Taylor swept Aroha Willis off her feet at a beautiful ceremony last weekend. The gorgeous couple have said their I Do's and will be sporting shiny new rings when they take the courts after their honeymoon!
Congrats you two, everyone from the Club wishes you a long and beautiful life together and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Norfolk Island is hosting the 25th Veteran's Tennis Championships in April 2015. Categories are 40's, 50's, 60's and 70+'s, with Men's, Ladies' and Mixed Doubles entries.

We still desperately need 2 more volunteers on the bar. The commitment is only one night per month and if you pair up with someone it's only every second month!
This is a great way to 'do your part' for the Club like so many others have before you. If we don't have volunteers the bar is un-manned and this can be a problem when we have visiting teams and events on at the Club, not to mention thirsty members who need a drink!
No experience necessary and all training is provided. Contact Sophie in the office if interested.
