It's Spring! Which would normally be something to celebrate but I'm not sure our resident tennis coach would be celebrating the rain of late. Still, it will be clearing as we head towards summer, so Club Nights will be hotting up on the blue courts and holding on the wooden courts! Enough about the weather...

Just a quick reminder about the Squash Leagues, and a call for interested players for a Tennis League!.
Squash: due to the level of interest in the Squash Leagues I'll be running these right through summer, so if you would like to join in the fun, please contact Sophie in the office - ASAP if you'd like to be in the September league!
Tennis: I'm interested to know how many people would be interested in a similar Tennis League - 2 games a month and you would play one super-set to 9 games (and continue on if you felt like it!). These are social, all grades and you don't need to be playing interclub, just be keen to have a hit with a few members you might not know, or a way to schedule some games and keep the motivation going. Reply email if you're interested - it's not a commitment yet - but they would start in October if we go ahead.

All members are entitled to an Auckland Tennis Affiliation Card and these are now available from the Club Office. The card entitles the bearer to discounted court hire rates and must be shown when booking courts at Scarbro Tennis Centre, ASB Tennis Arena and Manukau Tennis Centre.
To get your card, contact Sophie in the Club Office by reply email or ph 376-0681.
Don't forget our former Commonwealth Games Gold medallist Glen Wilson is running after school sessions on Mondays and Thursdays, Primary School Kids 3.45 - 4.45pm. $15 per session. Contact Glen on 021 584 321 or email gwilsonsquash@gmail.com.
