What a rubbish night for tennis! No worries, we're fully stocked with squash courts so grab your racket and head down to the club for a workout anyway. There's always a cold beer and a $50 Chapel voucher up for grabs, so come on down!

Today we have some important news for squashies about your grading points, some news from last weekend's interclub tennis and more...

Combined Grading List

From January 2014 the grading list will be changing. There are some exciting changes including a combined grading list for men and women, which involves some redistribution of grade boundaries.

The Grading List Advisory Group has now released the exact changes that will occur for players, depending on their current points.  To check out how this might affect you, take a look at this recent news article on our website.

Great Tennis Interclub Results!

Last Saturday saw some great results for Herne Bay teams! Our Mens Caro Reserve team had convincing win over Campbell Park with some great matches being played. Marko’s Open Men’s 2 team had solid (and entertaining) win against Bridge Park, and Second Mens took out Mission Bay 5-1. Well done guys!

This weekend sees our Presidents and ladies teams take the court. Good luck to all teams!

Mercy Hospice Event

Herne Bay Ponsonby RC is host to tomorrow's Mercy Hospice tennis tournament. Come on down and watch some expert skills on court from about 9-midday. Fingers and toes and anything else you have available crossed for sunshine!!

Office Closed

Please note that I will be in the office on Monday morning next week (not afternoon) and the office will be closed all day on Tuesday. I'm going to attempt to get to Wellington second time lucky... fingers crossed for no gale force winds this time :-)
