The HBPRC sportswear range has arrived!

Thanks to the wonderfully accommodating people at Dynasty Sport (suppliers of uniforms to various top-tier domestic teams across various codes) we now have our own range of HBPRC-branded clothing items, with a choice of colourways and sizings for both codes and training, in women's and men's styles and a kids' range too.

Even better, you can pre-order online right now and get a 33% discount PLUS free shipping by going to our very own clothing webstore here!

This is a top-of-the-line offering with all the features you'd expect if you were planning on upgrading your on-court costume for the coming seasons: moisture-wicking fabric, quality blended polyester with laser-cut detailing for improved airflow plus mesh panels to keep you cool. There's a range of everything to keep you fully kitted from performance shorts and skorts, court dresses, hoodies, jackets, puffa vests, through to the ubiquitous tees and polos in vibrant pinks, muted blues and greys with melange pattern, plus a clean white strip for those who like the classic look.

You will not find a better deal on items of this quality — prices start at just $30! — and if you're planning on turning out for an interclub team you'd be best to have a look pretty quickly as you won't want to be the odd one out not wearing HBPRC kit come match time.

Here's how to get your fancy new outfit:

  1. Go to our online store
  2. Pre-order by 25 August to get your 33% discount
  3. Use code "SPEEDY" to get your free shipping offer

And that's it! A size guide is available here, and for any questions or assistance with orders you can get in touch with Dynasty Sport direct on 09 415 1888 or email them at online@dynastysport.co.nz.

Note, as this is our first consignment the lead time on initial deliveries may be up to six to eight weeks, not the three to five business days quoted at checkout.

All Blacks vs Wallabies at the club tonight

Not going to Eden Park for the game? Next best thing is to watch it at the club: the bar will be open and Rob will have food options on hand, so you can bring the whole family and skip having to deal with feeding them for the night.

Come along and join in from 5pm for the build-up to see if the AB's record-breaking home-ground Eden Park winning record can be maintained. Last test had a solid turnout so you won't be short of company.

We are trialling some new things to get ready for new season launch in September, so please come along, join in and give us feedback. Security reminder

While upgrades are on the agenda and grant applications are underway to comprehensively overhaul security around the club, can we in the meantime please remember to check doors and windows are closed when leaving. We are still vulnerable to unwanted attention until these upgrades are in place, and there have been occassions in the past week when access points have been left open, so your cooperation in ensuring the the facility is secured after you leave is much appreciated.

Cast iron sauna ladle

We needed a suitable ladle for the sauna. A lovely member, Leslie, listened to Pia's laments and whilst in Mapua in the South Island, saw this little beauty. Cast iron pot with a wooden handle so that you don’t burn your hands. Things like this prove that not all heroes wear capes. Thank you, Leslie!
